When she was in first grade she knew how to and tell stories. During her academic life, Shirley learned studying skills as finding main ideas and facts.

One reason Shirley loves history is that when she reads it she can combine her story-reading strategies with her studying strategies." Shirley uses her reading and studying strategies to organize her work and information. She also uses the library as a source in order to be able to organize her work more clearly. She uses time-based organizing patterns no matter the task, no matter how conflict the pattern is, regardless of what they are just trying to say and how more sophisticated the strategy is

Explanation: she didn't like her grade she thought she wrote a good essay, so she was disappointed and went to her friend for advice.
